Karbonate Minerals Corp. Appoint Simon Harrison as Assistant Projects Director
Karbonate Minerals Corp. are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Simon Harrison as their Assistant Projects Director as of Monday, September 2nd.
Mr. Harrison will officially join the company on Monday September 2nd where he will report directly to Mr. Oliver Denton, Director of Projects at Karbonate Minerals Corp.
He has over 30 years experience in the mining sector where he has worked for several of the larger multi-national mining companies and held production based roles at all of them and spent considerable time in South America streamlining multiple production facilities.
"I have worked alongside Simon before when he was contracted in as a consultant to Karbonate several years ago when we first took over our Morona Santiago project in Ecuador to establish a tailings issue we were potentially facing and I was impressed by his knowledge and methodology at determining a workable solution, which we still have in place an operational to this day," said Oliver Denton.
"The entire team at Karbonate will undoubtedly benefit from Simon's no-nonsense approach to problem solving and his encyclopedic knowledge of everything mining. I personally wish him every success with us and I know he will be a credit to the company as a whole," Denton added.
